About this scholarship

You may be eligible for £6,000 if you study accounting and finance, and you have been educated at a Tees Valley school or college for at least three years.

Each scholarship is paid across three years of your undergraduate course. You are considered based on the financial circumstances demonstrated in your application statement and other applicant data available to the University. You must be available to attend an interview if shortlisted.

Eligibility

To apply you must:

• firmly accept your offer from the University and successfully enrol as a new entrant on BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance
• be applying for the first year of a full-time three-year course
• have been educated at a Tees Valley school or college for at least three years prior to your application
• detail any academic achievements or personal successes during school or college in your application
• outline your financial circumstances and how the scholarship funds will enable your studies.

How to apply

Eligible students will be invited to apply.

Awards are made at the discretion of the Scholarships Panel, who may consider your financial background, prior academic performance, as well as other information provided through your application and at any subsequent interview.

The Hill Scholarship was introduced in 2019, thanks to the generosity of a former º£½ÇÖ±²¥ lecturer, who was also an accountant prior.
