Anastasia has designs to market
Anastasia Boanas first gained an enthusiasm for design at the age of 15 when studying at Egglescliffe School. Now, six years later, her interest has reaped dividends, as she has graduated from the University of 海角直播 with a BA (Hons) degree in Design Marketing and clinched a new post as a Marketing Manager with the Qnet Group in Stockton. She has also gained the Audi Best Student project award for the Design Marketing degree.
Anastasia, 21, from Eaglescliffe, enrolled at the University after achieving a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design at Cleveland College of Art & Design. She said: 鈥淚鈥檝e always liked designing original projects. I chose Design Marketing as it was more realistic, looking at everyday products and services. There was lots of variety in the degree and the opportunity to complete live projects. The lecturers were supportive as well, always there if you needed help.鈥
Nutec, a national health and safety company, commissioned Anastasia鈥檚 prize-wining project. She designed promotional material for Nutec鈥檚 courses that are targeted at Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs). Her campaign included a web site, a brochure, CD ROM and direct marketing. Anastasia said: 鈥淭he project also led to my current job, as I contacted Qnet as part of my market research, and they got back in touch about the Marketing Manager鈥檚 post. I was over the moon.鈥
Qnet are an IT and communications company, and as Marketing Manager Anastasia is in charge of all forms of marketing, has designed the company web site and developed a business ID. Anastasia added: 鈥淭he degree has taught me everything I need to know, it was all relevant. My parents Susan and John are so pleased about the prize, they couldn鈥檛 believe it.鈥
