Open your mind to study in 2006

04 March 2005

The new undergraduate prospectus for September 2006 entry is now available. It features details of all of the University鈥檚 full-time courses, including HNDs, Foundation Degrees and BA and BSc degrees. New undergraduate courses for 2006 include Health Psychology, Creative Advertising and Promotion, Graphic Arts (Illustration), Sport Management, and Food Nutrition and Health Science.

The prospectus also includes information on the University鈥檚 bursaries, government grants, loans and additional help available in September 2006. Siobhan Jones, Director of the University鈥檚 Corporate Communications Unit said: 鈥淭he prospectus is an invaluable resource for anyone thinking about studying at 海角直播. It contains details on all our full-time courses as well as more information about our generous package of bursaries, student life, accommodation and career opportunities.鈥

The University will be offering a package of bursaries and scholarships that could be worth as much as 拢6,900 over three years to eligible students starting a full-time degree course in September 2006. This will be on top of the student grants, loans and fee remission being introduced by the Government in 2006.

It means that some students will have as much as 拢11,000 per year to support them while studying at 海角直播. The 海角直播 鈥榯op-up鈥 package will be front-loaded so that every full-time student gets at least 拢500 in their first year. Less well-off students will get a 海角直播 bursary of 拢1,300 a year.

Like almost all other English universities, 海角直播 will be charging 拢3,000 for most of its full-time undergraduate degree courses from September 2006. Students will not have to pay it back until after they are earning over 拢15,000 as graduates.

The prospectus is also available on-line at www.tees.ac.uk, or a copy can be ordered via the web site. Alternatively, you can call the University鈥檚 prospectus hotline on 01642 218121, or email hotline@tees.ac.uk
