Middlesbrough Monopoly cover stars reunited

The special Middlesbrough Monopoly is one of the region鈥檚 hottest Christmas presents. And two of its cover stars were reunited at the University of 海角直播.

Maria Susairaj, 24, from Mysore in India, graduated last week with an MSc in Management. Her family flew over from India to attend the graduation and Maria made sure that there was a copy of the game waiting for them. Maria, who also completed a BSc in Computer Studies at the University, said: 鈥淢iddlesbrough is great! I鈥檒l miss the place when I leave but at least I鈥檝e got a nice reminder with the Monopoly box.

鈥淚t was a real surprise when we were asked to pose for the photo on the box and I really didn鈥檛 think it would end up being used. I鈥檓 really happy I did it and I can鈥檛 wait to show it to my parents! Some of my friends have even asked me to sign theirs!鈥

Katrina Toole, 23, from Lisburn in Northern Ireland, is a BSc Psychology student. She said: 鈥淚 like the area so much I was thrilled to be asked to pose for the photo and I鈥檓 planning to stay after I graduate next year.

鈥淚t鈥檚 been strange to see myself in shops and in displays. I鈥檝e even been recognised by complete strangers!鈥
