Lynn steps out in style for charity

Fearless University of º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Student Enterprise Ambassador Lynn Wrightson is preparing to take brave steps to raise funds for charity.

Lynn, who works in the University’s Academic Enterprise department, will be taking part in a fundraising fire walk in aid of the Butterwick Children’s Hospice in Stockton. The event, which will see fundraisers walk barefoot across a bed of hot coals, will be held at Chicago Rock Café in Middlesbrough at 8pm on Sunday 28 September.

She decided to take part as she is a keen supporter of the charity. Lynn said: ‘I really enjoy a daring challenge. So when the opportunity arose to take part, I jumped at the chance.’

Lynn, of Middlesbrough, who has worked at the University for 11 years, has completed other fundraising challenges for a range of charities including a 10km run, a skydive and an abseil from the Transporter Bridge.
