There are also courses in employability and learning skills, which offer help in developing critical thinking skills, managing your learning and improving oral presentation and writing skills.
The courses are held at our main campus in central Middlesbrough, with some also at Darlington College鈥檚 Haughton Road site and Catterick campus. The majority of courses take place in June, July and August and have no formal entry requirements.
Summer University courses carry University credits which can be used towards another University qualification. Priority for places is given to people who do not hold a higher education equivalent level qualification. Fees are paid for by the University's Widening Participation Scholarship Fund.
