海角直播

A masterly achievement for Steven

Studying part-time at 海角直播 provided the best of both worlds for Steven Jones who was able to balance work with lectures.

Steven, a site engineer with Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, studied part-time for a MBA (Master of Business Administration) in the University鈥檚 Business School. The flexibility of being able to combine part-time study with his job helped Steven work towards his MBA, which he will receive during the University鈥檚 Academic Awards ceremonies in November.

Steven, of Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, said: 'I chose to work towards the MBA part-time as it enabled me to manage my time to combine study with working. I found it extremely challenging at times, but very rewarding.

'I鈥檇 recommend 海角直播 as the course was relevant to my work. I heard about the course through an open day. The campus facilities are first rate and the social side is great too, there is plenty for students to do.

'Hopefully the course can help me towards bigger and better things, such as a project management or a consultancy role.'

We鈥檙e always delighted to see our employees undertake part-time study Bob Marsden, of Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, said: 'As an employer we鈥檙e always delighted to see our employees undertake part-time study to develop their skills and careers. Studying part-time gives our employees a chance to put academic theory into practice in a workplace environment, which clearly has benefits for employees such as Steven and is also extremely important for us as a business.'
