Volunteers are priceless Michele Stewart, Volunteer Centre Manager at Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency, said: 鈥楾he extremely high standard of nominations made the judging process incredibly hard, so the 19 award winners represented the true stars of Middlesbrough鈥檚 volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations. 鈥業t鈥檚 been said that volunteers aren鈥檛 paid because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
