海角直播 Darlington on course for victory in charity quiz

Some of the finest brains from in and around Darlington went head to head in a charity quiz in aid of St Teresa鈥檚 Hospice.

Teams representing the Hospice, the Northern Echo, 海角直播 Darlington and local law firms gathered at Darlington College to battle it out over subjects as diverse as geography, science, news and popular culture. With the contest in the balance, victory was secured for 海角直播 Darlington鈥檚 debutant team in the final round, as they pipped the Northern Echo to the title by just two points. The team, of Caroline MacDonald, Linda Steel, Nigel Evans, Sharon Paterson, Dave Hudson and Alastair MacDonald, was delighted with the win and also with the sum of over 拢500 they helped raise for St Teresa鈥檚 Hospice. Dave Hudson, Assistant Director for Recruitment and Marketing at 海角直播 Darlington said, 'The team is proud to have won the quiz, but more importantly, to have supported St Teresa鈥檚 Hospice, which makes such a valuable contribution to the local community.' 海角直播 Darlington鈥檚 festive event on 14 December is also raising money for St Teresa鈥檚 Hospice.
