Children celebrate Christmas at 海角直播

Children from 海角直播鈥檚 nursery played a role in celebrating Christmas on campus this year.

This year鈥檚 celebrations included an afternoon nativity scene in the University鈥檚 Brittan Hall. Children of staff and students who are cared for by the nursery took part in the nativity, with a cast of 14 taking on the roles of Mary, Joseph, an angel, the wise men, shepherds, sheep and a donkey. Along with the nativity scene, the free event included carols, mince pies, tea and coffee.

海角直播 Chaplain, Reverend Andrew Howard, said, 'It reflects a different aspect of our University community, involving children from our own nursery. It鈥檚 been a great success and next year we will have both an evening carol service and along the afternoon carols and nativity.

'Local schools, including Archibald and Viewley Hill, have been really helpful in providing costumes and support. Everyone has been really supportive.'
