Become a legal eagle at 海角直播

Aspiring legal eagles should fly to the University of 海角直播 on Tuesday 16 January for an Open Evening, which will provide information about full-time and part-time Law (LLB Hons) degrees at the University. The event is free and will be held from 6-8pm in the Law Foyer, Seventh Floor, Middlesbrough Tower (entrance off the King Edward鈥檚 Square, near the junction with Borough Road, Middlesbrough, which is the University鈥檚 main entrance).

Helen Howard, Admissions Tutor for Law at the University, said: 鈥淭he evening will be very informal and open to anyone of any age with an interest in studying Law. Formal qualifications are not always necessary to study Law, if potential students have relevant experience. Members of the Law section will be available to talk about the degree and deal with individual enquiries. During the evening, visitors will have the opportunity to sit on a half-hour lecture from 7-7.30pm, entitled 鈥楽etting a Precedent: Making and Mending the Law.鈥 鈥淟aw is a dynamic, fast-moving subject which gives access to a range of careers, not only in the legal profession itself but also in industry, local government or education, to name but a few.鈥
