Students who are yet to secure a place at University are being reminded not to panic as it is still not too late to apply. º£½ÇÖ±²¥ is hosting a bespoke online chat for late Clearing applicants to find out more about the range of courses available.

It takes place from 11.00am to 1.00pm on Wednesday 31 August and you can get involved on the day by visiting .

In the meantime, students can still ring the University’s Clearing hotline on 0800 952 0226.

Dave Hudson, Deputy Director of External Relations at º£½ÇÖ±²¥, said: 'We would like to reassure applicants and their parents that it is not too late to apply for a university place.

'We know that students are, quite rightly, taking more time to make their final decisions regarding university. It is a big decision which should be carefully considered. There are still a number of students making choices and our message is simply not to panic – you can still come to º£½ÇÖ±²¥ through Clearing.

'The online chat we are hosting is just one of many initiatives we have to provide students with as much choice and information as possible about their future study opportunities.'

º£½ÇÖ±²¥ has a range of funding packages available to new full-time undergraduate students starting this September, including the £500 º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Kickstart award to support students in their first year.
