The Guardian University Guide is an annual league table that uses statistics from a variety of sources to rank universities in the UK. The league table is designed to assist students in making a decision on which university they should choose.

In subject areas at 海角直播, Art, Dance and Drama, English and Creative Writing, History and Nursing and Midwifery each featured in the top third of institutions in their subject table.

Art was the most improved subject, rising to 11th place.

Professor Paul Croney, Vice-Chancellor of 海角直播, said: 'These results demonstrate the hard work and commitment of all staff in the University in providing an excellent student and learning experience. It reflects the investment in the campus to ensure our students have one of the most flexible and innovative learning environments for their studies.

'The Guardian result builds on our recent improvement in the latest Complete University Guide, published earlier this year. This improvement is reinforced by our ranking of 23rd in the UK and number one in the North East for teaching quality in the 2017 Sunday Times Good University Guide.'
