It will be opened by 海角直播鈥檚 Pro Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise and Business Engagement) Professor Jane Turner OBE and will feature a panel discussion and Q&A with representatives from Venator, Northumbrian Water, Nouveau Group and Wilton Group.
As part of the programme final year students from 海角直播 will present the results of a project they worked on with Middlesbrough Council, designed to address social problems in the area; the students presented a solution that brought the council services and business together.
The event will be chaired by Caroline Theobald CBE, Chair of First Face to Face Ltd and Director of NIBE.
She said: 'At NIBE we feel strongly that a great North East region is as much about ethical and responsible business practice as it is about education, jobs and infrastructure.
'We hope businesses agree and will join us in a first step to making that happen in the Tees Valley where we and partners such as Endeavour Law, the University, Tees Valley Business Club and Venator believe strongly that we can make ethical and responsible business a key selling point of the region 鈥 please help us do that.'
The event will be of interest to those in the private, public and voluntary sectors who have responsibility for ethics or corporate social responsibility in their organisation. It will also be of interest to leaders within organisations who are interested in responsible business.
It will take place on Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in The Curve at 海角直播, Southfield Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 3BX.
