Dr David Bell, Pro Vice-Chancellor International, said:

鈥淭he diversity of culture and experiences our international students bring to 海角直播 make it a unique place to live and study.

鈥淭hese exceptional results are testament to the hard work of staff across the University, who continue to place our students at the heart of everything we do.

鈥淲e are delighted that our international students have acknowledged this, particularly in light of the challenges we have all faced during the Covid-19 pandemic.

鈥淲e look forward to continuing to build our international partnerships and welcoming students from across the world to the Tees Valley.鈥

Rebecca Gilling, President Education and Chair of the Board of Trustees at 海角直播 Students鈥 Union (TUSU) said: 鈥淲e are absolutely thrilled to have received these exceptional ratings in such a prestigious and influential survey. We are obviously focused on ensuring all students have the highest quality experience possible.

鈥淗owever, it is particularly pleasing to see that international students, who often need a little more support in their early days studying and living in a different country, appear to be so highly satisfied with what the University and ourselves provide.

鈥淒espite being rated number one, we are still ambitious to do even more for the ever-growing international student population here in the coming months and I am sure our first ever all international Student Officer team will share that goal when they take over in July.鈥
