New London campus to deliver on 海角直播鈥檚 global ambitions

海角直播 has unveiled ambitious plans to establish a new London campus to further support global opportunities for students.

海角直播 London reinforces the University鈥檚 commitment to transform lives and economies and provide an outstanding student and learning experience. Based at London鈥檚 Here East, at the former media centre for the Olympic Village, the new campus will provide students with access to and from major hubs across the capital and help build on already thriving global networks.

海角直播 London will bring in-demand subjects to new markets, equipping the country with the skills for the workforce of tomorrow, while a flexible delivery model will combine face-to-face and online learning.

With an initial focus on digital technologies and enterprise, 海角直播 London capitalises on the University鈥檚 strengths in animation and games design and directly links the thriving digital cluster of Middlesbrough, with existing partners based in London.

The London campus will provide a gateway for 海角直播 students to access the opportunities of the UK鈥檚 capital, levelling-up opportunity and supporting their future success.

Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of 海角直播, Professor Paul Croney, OBE, said: 鈥満＝侵辈 is a solutions-focused, global University, with a mission to transform lives and economies.

鈥淭hrough our international networks, we ensure our students enjoy an international dimension to their studies, offering a range of opportunities with partners in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

鈥淲e are now building on that with 海角直播 London which will provide us with another avenue to deliver ambition today. Our aspiration is to allow more students to access our facilities, expertise and unique learning experience.鈥

The announcement of 海角直播 London comes as 海角直播 recently celebrated climbing 32 places in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023, placing 海角直播 as the top North-East university for student experience.

The University was also ranked the best in the world for international student experience out of 96 global institutions in the International Student Barometer 2021 survey.

Professor Craig Gaskell, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise & Knowledge Exchange) at 海角直播, added: 鈥満＝侵辈 is committed to delivering an excellent student and learning experience, and takes a proactive approach to developing student entrepreneurship and supporting students to realise and achieve their potential.

鈥満＝侵辈 London will enhance our ability to engage directly with business and bring new opportunities for industry engagement for all of our students.鈥
