Free research training delivered by 海角直播 reaches milestone

A team of academics from 海角直播 is about to deliver its 100th free training session, supporting the professional development of local authority staff, healthcare professionals, educators and doctoral students.

More than 8,500 people from across the world have registered for the free training sessions, which cover academic and research skills. Topics have included working with international research partners, managing funding, and ensuring accessibility for those involved in research.

The 100th session will take place later this month, celebrating the milestone and giving participants the opportunity to shape the future of the training.

The sessions are delivered by Team Alpha (Alcohol and Public Health Research Team), led by Dorothy Newbury-Birch, Professor of Social Justice and Public Policy at 海角直播, with guest sessions offered by 海角直播 staff and students and external partners.

Professor Newbury-Birch said: 鈥満＝侵辈 is committed to advancing professional development through the provision of accessible, high-quality training.

鈥淲e are incredibly proud of the community that has grown around these sessions and excited to use this milestone to shape what comes next together.鈥

The training sessions are delivered under the Institute for Collective Place Leadership at 海角直播, which conducts place-based research that supports regional growth, development and regeneration.

They take place over lunchtimes, and all are welcome.

The 100th session will take place online on Wednesday 25 March, 12.00pm - 1.00pm.
