This national recognition builds on ongoing work across the University to break down barriers to higher education and ensure that talent 鈥 not background or circumstances 鈥 determines opportunity.
海角直播 has long been at the forefront of supporting more people into university, working closely with schools, colleges, and communities across the region to raise aspirations and create clear pathways into higher education.
Through targeted outreach activity, tailored support programmes, and strong partnerships, the University helps students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds access university, thrive during their studies, and progress into meaningful careers.
Initiatives highlighted earlier this year in its Access and Participation Plan (APP) Impact report include enhanced community engagement, sustained investment in student support, and a focus on progression outcomes, ensuring students are equipped with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to succeed after graduation.
Education has the power to transform lives, and at 海角直播 we are committed to ensuring that everyone with the potential to succeed has the opportunity to do so.
James Ward, Assistant Director of Student and Library Services at 海角直播, said: 'We are proud to play a leading role in driving social mobility, both within our region and nationally.
