Badminton has been hugely popular within our student population at 海角直播. With casual, campus league and competitive players, it also attracts some fantastic supporters at matches.

The BUCS team have performed exceptionally well in recent years gaining a well-deserved promotion to Tier 3 for 2026/27. With the addition of a second competitive men鈥檚 (Tier 5) and women鈥檚 (Tier 4) BUCS team in 2026/27, there is a wide array of opportunities to play badminton from recreational to competitive levels.

Basketball has been growing in popularity at 海角直播 over the past few seasons. The men鈥檚 BUCS team had a very competitive season in 2025-26 earning a fantastic and well-deserved promotion to Tier 3 for 2026/27.

With some brilliant new players adding to the squad in the past two seasons, the team will be hoping to push for a promotion place again in 2026/27 and continue you their run of success. There is a wide array of opportunities to play basketball from casual sessions, Just Play, campus leagues and BUCS.

Cheerleading has become one of our most sociable clubs with a core group of members. The group is passionate about what they do. With great social culture and very positive environment that is welcoming to all levels of experience and abilities, the club is a great place to learn and develop new skills and make some great new friends. Supported by a highly experienced and enthusiastic coaching team, Cheerleading could be the club for you.

The climbing club is a great place to be if you whether you want to learn new skills and take on some new challenges or advance your existing climbing experience. Supported by highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors, whether you have climbed before or not, the club is open to everyone.

With opportunities to try bouldering and wall climbing, there is plenty to do in our on-campus climbing facilities. A great social group, you are guaranteed to meet like minded people and make loads of friends when attending the weekly sessions, planned excursions and outdoor activities.

Cricket is a growing sport at 海角直播 and in 2026/27 we aiming to provide some great opportunities to get involved. With new equipment for the new season, we are looking forward to hosting some indoor cricket opportunities on campus in Olympia. With indoor net sessions and soft ball quick cricket on offer, we hope to develop the team ahead of the next outdoor BUCS season.

The dance club is always welcoming of new members. Whether you have experience in dance or not, they are always happy to have new people bringing styles and skills to share with the group. They are a very supportive club of all members and encourage development for everyone. With the guidance and coaching of a fantastic and experienced instructor, the club is on the rise in 2026/27. So why not give dance a go and be part of one of our most sociable clubs.

Judo has become one of 海角直播鈥檚 fastest growing sports, and one of the most successful at 海角直播 in recent years. For the past four years, the Judo club has seen athletes competing at the highest level in BUCS and EUSA Games competitions across the UK and internationally. From beginner to elite international fighters, the club has really taken off and supports athletes of levels and experience to achieve their best.

One of 海角直播鈥檚 biggest sports clubs, with three BUCS teams in the university league, there is no shortage of opportunities to play competitive football and represent 海角直播.

Men鈥檚 Football have had a very successful couple of years, with the men鈥檚 1st team academy gaining promotion to Tier 3 in the BUCS league they are a team on the rise. The 2nd and 3rd are also on the chase and will be hoping to recruit strong squads to target promotion in 2026/27. Opportunities to play football are also available through casual bookings, Just Play sessions and campus leagues.

Men鈥檚 Futsal at 海角直播 has been growing in popularity over the past few years. With two teams now in the BUCS League, there is no shortage of opportunities to play for the club and represent 海角直播. No matter your level of experience, you will find a very welcoming and supportive environment to help your development as a player under the expertise of our fantastic and highly experienced club coach.

With a team in transition and aiming to build a new stronger than ever squad in 2026/27 the opportunities to play netball in 2026/27 are bigger and better than ever. Under the guidance of a new enthusiastic and motivated coach, the team will be aiming to build a squad focussed on promotion this year. A welcoming and friendly environment, everyone of all abilities is welcome.

The rowing club is always open to anyone wanting to try it for the first time, or for those who want to keep up with it and develop their skills and experience. Supported by the very well established and experienced Tees Rowing Club and under the guidance of one of the best coaches in the country, they provide everything you need for a great experience, whether it be socially, for fitness or taking it to highest levels of competition.

The volleyball club has grown massively in recent years, now with a men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 offer in BUCS you won鈥檛 be short of opportunities to represent 海角直播. The club has developed into a strong club with plenty of opportunities to participate and develop your skills at every level. Under the guidance of a motivated and highly experienced coach, the two teams will be pushing for promotion in 2026/27.
